I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
In relation to the most recent PC – PS promotional process (2024), I have disclosed the following information:
Q1 - How many applications were made?
911 applications were received.
Q2 - How many applications were successful at the paper sift stage?
706 were successful at sift stage.
Q3 - How many persons were given assessment centres?
643 were assessed. There may have been some candidates who had assessments scheduled but they may have withdrawn before being assessed and therefore this figure only includes those that have received a result.
Q4 - How many persons attained the pass mark of 40 for the assessment centres and were successful in passing the process?
206 met the pass mark and were successful.
Please note:
The difference between the “number of person’s given assessment centres” and those that were “successful” is not equal to the number of candidates who were unsuccessful.
This difference does not account for applications that were withdrawn during this period, or those that have yet to attend their assessment centre due to extenuating circumstances. These figures can be provided upon request.
