MPS costs relating to translation services from April 2019 to March 2025

I note you seek access to the following information:

Costs incurred by the Metropolitan Police Force providing translation services as follows:
- by ethnic language
- in the investigation of accused
- in investigation of witnesses and statements
- in investigation of non crime hate issues
- by nature / category of crime ie burglaries, assaults, mugging, etc

All the above categories should be readily available - if not please provide under this FOI request the reasons such information is not gathered.

Thank you for your response.

Clearly the information I have requested would serve to provide an argument surrounding a value for money assessment to the Tax Payer.

However, as you have offered annual gross totals by year from 2019 - 2020 through to 2024 - 2025 this would be a start in preparing a value for money assessment for Tax Payer.
