Emergency Charges since the deployment of the MPS’s Connect RMS in November 2022

I note you seek access to the following information:

The number of emergency charges made since the deployment of the Met Police’s Connect RMS in November 2022.

Please could you provide me with the following information:

  1. The number of emergency charges made in the year prior to Connect being implemented in November 2022;
  2. The number of emergency charges made in the year after Connect being implemented in November 2022;
  3. How many emergency charges in the year after November 2022 cite issues with the Connect system as the reason why it was not possible to bring charges within the PACE window (I am happy for this to be provided as a percentage if you prefer).

Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

Q1 - The number of emergency charges made in the year prior to Connect being implemented in November 2022;

There were no emergency changes made in the year prior to Connect go live in November 2022

Q2 - The number of emergency charges made in the year after Connect being implemented in November 2022;

The total number of emergency changes made in the year following November 2022 is 4, logged under the Connect Application service.

Q3 - How many emergency charges in the year after November 2022 cite issues with the Connect system as the reason why it was not possible to bring charges within the PACE window (I am happy for this to be provided as a percentage if you prefer).

There were no emergency changes made in the year following November 2022, which can been cited as the reason why it was not possible to bring charges within the PACE window.
