Table 1 - Electric Scooters seized from 1 January 2019 to the 14 of January 2024, broken down by calendar year

The figures in table 1 have been extracted from ePMS and CONNECT, as these were the MPS systems used to record criminal exhibits over the requested period. These databases were used as you have sought access to “seized” electric scooters. The MPS also records electric scooters that have been recovered on the Met Police’s car pound computer system. This system is called Easy Link Vehicle Information System (ELVIS) and does not include electric scooters that have been seized as criminal exhibits and recorded within ePMS and/or CONNECT. Figures recorded in ELVIS have not been included in the table above.
