Investigations into Complicity in International Crimes:
1. Please provide the total number of criminal investigations initiated by the Metropolitan Police (specifically the War Crimes Team, SO15, or other relevant units) where the alleged offence includes complicity, aiding and abetting, or materially assisting in the commission of war crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide, as defined under the International Criminal Court Act 2001 or alleged offence relates to breaches of UK strategic export controls (e.g., Export Control Order 2008) where the end-use or destination of exported goods/services was assessed as having a clear risk of being used in the commission of war crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide.

In relation to Question 1 of your request, the total number of criminal investigations initiated by the Counter Terrorism Policing War Crimes team, hosted by the MPS is 7.
Please note, this is for criminal investigations meeting the threshold of the request only, and does not include any other offences, such as murder or torture.
Furthermore, it does not include scoping exercises prior to opening a criminal or coronial investigations.
