Crimes where Tasers were used from April 2022 to March 2025

I note you seek access to the following information:

Please send me a breakdown of all crimes recorded in the past three years in which tasers are used.

Please give me a specific breakdown of thefts in which these tasers were used on victims.”

On the 30 July 2025, we discussed your request for information. In our conversation, I explained that the way in which the data was recorded and proposed that I consider for release, the information held with the exception of taser discharges, where the taser hit a victim, as this information was not recorded in a searchable field. You agreed with this amendment to your request. I have however, since our conversation, been able to collate this information and have accordingly, considered this information for release.

CAVEAT
The weapon type stun gun within the Met's crime recording systems is used to capture both tasers and stun guns.
