I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Q1 - To date, how many people have had their vetting status reviewed.

Q2 - How many had their vetting removed or retained.
108 Withdrawn / 89 Maintained
Q3 - To date, how many people have retained their vetting status but with a risk mitigation strategy put in place.
3 people were maintained with Vetting Aftercare in place. 9 people were already managed by the DPS before the Op Assure referral and continue to be managed.
Q4 - Of those who have had their vetting status removed, how many appealed against the vetting decision.

Q5 - How many people have been either successful in their vetting appeal.
7 (21 appeal decisions remain outstanding).
Q6 - How many of them have returned to full duty.
All those whose appeals were successful have had their vetting reinstated in full except for the 9 referred to above at Q3 and 5 who have since left the MPS.
Q7 - How many who were unsuccessful in their vetting appeal have now progressed to stage 3 and are currently awaiting a hearing for gross incompetence due to their loss of RV vetting clearance.
11 officers are awaiting a Gross Incompetency hearing.

20 have been dismissed via Gross Incompetence hearings. 4 police staff have been dismissed via a dismissal meeting and 2 officers dismissed via Regulation 13 (probation).
