Police pursuits and road traffic collisions from April 2019 to March 2025

I note you seek access to the following information:
Could I please specify the timescale for the requested data to be the last ten years, from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2024.
I would also like to clarify that for request section 4. Any and all information and correspondence between the Met and the IOPC related to IOPC investigations into Road Traffic Incidents involving a Police vehicle this can be limited to RTIs which resulted in a fatality.
- [Data] Number of pursuits recorded by the Met, divided by each calendar year, for as many years as available.
- Any and all, or at least number of, collision reports where a Police vehicle is involved in the collision, divided by calendar year.
- Any and all information and correspondence between the Met and the Coroner's Office concerning Prevention of Future Deaths reports, where the fatality involved a police-related Road Traffic Incident (a police vehicle collision for example)
- Any and all information and correspondence between the Met and the IOPC related to IOPC investigations into Road Traffic Incidents involving a Police vehicle.
- Any and all information related to the implementation of Coroner or IOPC recommendations (as part of Prevention of Future Deaths reports) into actual Police training or conduct.
However, we liaised with one another on the 16 April and you confirmed that you would be happy to amend the request and receive the information that we could easily provide, which was the number of police pursuits recorded since the 2019 to 2020 financial year, and the number of police collisions recorded during that time.

Please note, the figures provided show all police collisions in row 2 and all pursuit related collisions in row 3. This is because not all collisions happen as a result of a pursuit (some can occur as a result of normal driving or responding to calls, for example).
