As of the 14 April 2025, a police officer holding the rank of Acting Detective Superintendent leads the MPS Central Specialist Crime Modern Slavery Teams. These teams have ownership of Serious and Complex Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and Exploitation investigations within London. As the officer subject of your request holds the rank of Acting Detective Superintendent, I have refused to disclose this officer’s name in accordance with the following provisions of the Act:
