Cost incurred for each of the six Non-Police Personnel vetting levels

I note you seek access to the following information:

  1. In your response 01.FOI.24.035896 the MPS list the various vetting level renewal periods within your police force (MPS), following on from that, please now provide the cost incurred for each of the six Non-Police Personnel vetting levels cited:
    RV
    CTC (for police personnel)
    CTC (for non-police personnel)
    MV 7 years SC (for police personnel)
    SC (for non-police personnel)
    DV 7 years
    NPPV1
    NPPV2 (abbreviated)
    NPPV2 (full)
    NPPV3
  2. Please provide any inflationary cost increase for Non-Police Personnel Vetting from 20 February 2024 – present day.
  3. In your Police force (MPS) please provide the vetting levels for all the various Police staff (Non-Police constables) roles.

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

Q1 - In your response 01.FOI.24.035896 the MPS list the various vetting level renewal periods within your police force (MPS), following on from that, please now provide the cost incurred for each of the six Non-Police Personnel vetting levels cited:

the MPS do not hold this information, but we have lifted the attached vetting rates for 2025 from the National Police Vetting Service which comes under Warwickshire Police and the below which is for April 2024, please submit an FOI request to the following link for further information: Police National Vetting Service | Warwickshire Police

New Rates for Vetting as of 1 April 2024

Q2 - Please provide any inflationary cost increase for Non-Police Personnel Vetting from 20 February 2024 – present day.

We do not hold this information, please refer to the link above and contact Warwickshire Police who deal with the police national contractor scheme

Q3 - In your Police force (MPS) please provide the vetting levels for all the various Police staff (Non-Police constables) roles.

All police staff hold either RV/CTC or Enhanced MV/SC or MV/DV vetting levels.
