Q1 - Please could you provide information on how many officers have had disciplinary proceedings for racism (either against their colleagues or the general public) from the years 2022 up until the most recent data available for 2024?
There are 36 officers who have had disciplinary proceedings for discriminatory behaviour on the basis of race between 2022 up until the 03 October 2024.
Q2 - Out of the officers who have had disciplinary proceedings in the years specified, how many were dismissed without notice?
9 were dismissed without notice.
Q3 - Out of the officers who have had disciplinary proceedings in the years specified, how many retired or resigned?
13 officers had cases proven against them but had retired or resigned. Please note that this figure represents the number of officers that had a hearing progressed under the Former Officer Regulations even though they were no longer serving.
