Q1 - I would like to know that if, from your perspective or reach within the Metropolitan Police, you have a mental health nurse or unit knowledgeable or with trust on the topic of my mental health diagnosis.
The MPS Occupational Health (OH) provider Optima Health, have a mental health team that deliver mental health services which include counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to the MPS.
To clarify the OH service is an advisory service providing recommendations on workplace adjustments and does not provide diagnosis or treatment for any conditions. This has to be done by the primary health care e.g. GP.
