London Police Stations open to public in Greater London

I note you seek access to the following information:

1. Can you please provide information regards to how many Metropolitan Police stations in Greater London has open counters/walk in for members of the public to access the service.
2. Can you provide a response to if Lime House Police station is currently operational and if it is open to members of the public.

Q1 - Can you please provide information regards to how many Metropolitan Police stations in Greater London has open counters/walk in for members of the public to access the service.

There are 36 Front Counters across the London which are open to the public. Whilst the Front Counter at Forest Gate Police Station recently closed in March following a fire, the Front Counter has been reopened at Stratford Police Station to ensure that public access is provided within the Borough of Newham.

Q2 - Can you provide a response to if Lime house Police station is currently operational and if it is open to members of the public.

Limehouse Police Station is an operational police building, however there is no public access at Limehouse since the Front Counter closed in 2017.
