From your offender management unit dealing with Serious Crime Prevention Orders (SCPOs). Please may you provide me with following details:
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
The MPS hold data in relation to recorded details of (SCPOs) - active orders for offenders living in the community, offenders in custody with live orders, in custody with dormant orders, wanted offenders with (SCPOs), offenders who were granted with (SCPOs) who have been deported and those offenders for whom (SCPOs) have been applied for.
This does not include data relating to (SCPOs) transferred into the MPS from other forces or transferred from the MPS to other forces. Therefore, this data has not been included as the response would result in a cost refusal.
Q1 - How many (SCPO) orders were applied for by your force since the legislation started and how many orders were granted.
Data from the National (SCPO) list indicates that 295 (SCPOs) were granted in the MPS since 2009. We do not have access to data relating to how many unsuccessful (SCPO) applications were made.
The Central Order Team (COT) Tracker data provides details of the number of (SCPOs) granted from 2020:

Q2 - How many orders became live since, with Subject of the orders released to the community, with a year-by-year breakdown.
Data from the National (SCPO) list indicates the following number of MPS (SCPOs) became live year by year:

2022 - 32
2023 - 28
2024 to date - 6
Q3 - How many Subjects of the orders reoffended during the terms of their (SCPO):
- How many Subjects breached their licence conditions,
- How many Subjects breached the (SCPO) itself.
Data from the COT Tracker shows the following year by year breakdown of how many offenders breached their prison licence:
2021 - 9
2022 - 10
2023 - 10
2024 - 1
Q4 - How many Subjects have not breached the (SCPO) and had their (SCPO) discharged.
Data from the National (SCPO) List and COT tracker shows that of the 181 MPS (SCPOs) granted and currently live or expired, 150 of them did not breach their (SCPOs). We do not have access to data relating to (SCPOs) that were discharged.
