Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.24.035753
I note you seek access to the following information:
I would like information regarding complaints made about behaviour of police officers on social network sites, namely Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (now X) and TikTok.
I am interested in the last 4 years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and January 2024. For complaints received, please tell me: rank of officer, what the complaint was about (eg unbecoming behaviour), what site (eg X), outcome of complaint and if the complaint was made by a member of the public.
If possible, I would also like to know how long each complaint took to progress (eg complaint received January 2020, investigation concluded March 2021).
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Please find attached information pursuant to your request above.
To advise, on the attached data set AA means Appropriate Authority and RPRP is Reflective Practice Review Process. You will also note that there are officers shown as Inspector +, the reason for this is because all officers of this rank and above have been grouped together as to show the individual ranks could lead to identification issues and therefore would result in an exemption (Section 40 – Personal Information) being cited.
