Artificial intelligence (AI) describes a range of technologies which may not necessarily be explicitly referred to as AI ..
To assist your inquiries search terms that would capture most AI projects are: “artificial intelligence”, “chatbot”, “LLM” “machine learning”, “deep learning”, “algorithm”, “data analysis” and “analytics”.
Could you please provide:
a) Outline details (project name and purpose and brief description) of any proposals for investment in the application of artificial intelligence to new areas of work, produced in the last two calendar years of which the Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer is aware.
b) Please indicate if each proposal identified in a) was accepted, rejected or remains under consideration and the date (approximate would do) the proposal was made.

The Digital Data and Technology function signs off any requests for investment in new technology. We have searched the proposals that have come to the Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer (CDDaTO) as chair of the same and identified the following as being relevant to the search terms requested.
It should be noted that in our view the terms ‘data analysis’ and ‘analytics’ are not typically referred to as ‘AI’ and the MPS does not consider those proposals listed as being AI related but the proposals are:
