I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full. Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

Searches successfully located information relevant to your request. I have attached an excel spreadsheet below which outlines whether there was an investigation report, the borough the offence has occurred, the species the offence relates to and a description of the offence. I will also supply the outcome, which has been aggregated in a separate table, in order to minimise the risk of personal data being released. Please note, some data in the description column has been redacted, so as not to contravene Data Protection principles. I will also not disclose the date, or show which specific offence relates to the outcome. This data has been withheld as it is exempt from disclosure by virtue of:

CONTEXT on information disclosed
The information attached relates to Wildlife Crime that has occurred from 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2024.

Column 2 on the spreadsheet states whether a Crime report (CRIS) (now called investigation report on Connect) was created as a result of the report to police. The criteria to create a crime report has to be fulfilled - available lines of enquiry for an investigation to be initiated, such as evidence that would lead to the identification a suspect, etc. Therefore, a yes on column 2 means that there was a CRIS or an investigation report created and it was allocated to an officer. The rest of the reports stayed at a CAD (operation room) or Crimint (intelligence only) level.
