Q1 - What kind of support does the Metropolitan Police usually give to police officers convicted of a crime
An officer under investigation for a criminal offence would be offered welfare support to aid with their wellbeing. Any welfare support provided would continue whilst they remained in our employment. Welfare options include Occupational Health referrals, access to various support services and the assistance of a Welfare Support Officer.
Q2 - What policies are in place for when an officer is convicted of a crime?
