How long, on average, does it take for a British born citizen to apply to be a Police Officer to start training.

On our website (which can be found by following the link below) it states the following:

It can take around six months for people to complete our recruitment process. At each stage you will be contacted by our recruitment team, who will provide you with more information and support you throughout. Following this, the successful applicant will be offered a place on a training course, however when the training will actually start will vary depending on course availability and the availability of the applicant. Please note this is for all candidates not just British born ones.
