Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.24.035754
I note you seek access to the following information:
I would like to ask if the Metropolitan Police Service has any routine security checks on public toilets. My previous FOI request (01/FOI/23/034653) shows that 210 sexual offences occurred in public toilets within your jurisdiction in the last ten years - does the MPS has any comment on this?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
During the course of routine patrols neighbourhood officers do visit and check public toilets. If there are known issues in such areas, teams will work closely with local authorities to resolve them.
