I note you seek access to the following information:

Please can you provide the total number of potential recruits who completed the fitness test and how many failed the test.

Please can you break this down by their gender and rank they were applying for within the force.

Please can you show this data for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The data is categorised by gender, rank/band applied for, and fitness test final result by completion date.

There are three caveats to the data:

1. It was observed that there are two fields in the band/rank vacancies specifying the following:
   a. One Stop Shop
   b. Transferee Both of these categories cannot be broken down by rank; hence, I have mapped these values as follows:
   o One Stop Shop: One Stop Shop/Unspecified
   o Transferee: Transferee/Unspecified
   
   
2. It was noticed that a few cases are still pending an Optima Decision. Their medical statuses are as follows:o Retest Required

• Retest Booked
• Fitness Expired
• Pending Health
• Review Required
• These statuses have been mapped to "Pending Optima."
  
  3. The dates of the fitness tests were obtained via the last interview date. I could not retrieve the dates from the fitness test forms, as many of the dates were in an unspecified format, posing a risk to the data
