1) How many officers were investigated for misconduct

3) How many of the above investigations were appealed
4) What were the outcomes of above investigations
If within cost constraints:
5) Average length (months) of gross misconduct and misconduct investigation
6) Documentation with regards to what public complaints would trigger a gross misconduct or misconduct investigation, as opposed to a local investigation. what is the threshold, for example use of Taser, injury ect.

The threshold for a Gross misconduct investigation is defined under Paragraph 29, Schedule 3, Police Reform Act 2002. It is a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour so serious that dismissal would be justified. The standards of professional behaviour are defined within the code of ethics (attached). Greater detail on severity assessments can be found in the IOPC stat guidance (para 13.25) also attached 2x pdf documents.
