Q1 - What is the maximum rank capable of being operational for MO19, and could a document with these ranks be provided?
Note: The meaning “Operational” in relation to your question has not been defined.
All ranks within MO19 are capable of being operational (unless specific restrictions apply) in the guise of Firearms Commanders, Post Incident Managers, Public Order Commanders, Counter Terrorism Security Coordinators, Hostage Negotiators and Authorised Firearms Officers.
Q2 - Are the identities of firearms officers, specifically CTSFOs in MO19 confidential?
Officers deploying in sensitive roles may do so under protected identities in order to ensure the safety of officers. Identities of officers internally are not considered confidential unless they become Key Police Witnesses, for example.
