I note you seek access to the following information:

1. Can I request data on the amount of Metropolitan Police equipment that has been lost in each of the last three years?

2. Particularly, I would like to know how many tasers, police batons, armoured vests and if any, firearms which have been lost or stolen in each of the last three years?

Q1 - Can I request data on the amount of Metropolitan Police equipment that has been lost in each of the last three years?

103 uniform items and serialised items of personal protective equipment (PPE) (handcuffs, batons, warrant card holders, body armour etc.) have been reported lost since June 2022, which is when the process for reporting these items as lost or stolen was launched. The yearly breakdown is as follows:

2023 - 50.
2022 (from June) - 53.

Q2 - Particularly, I would like to know how many tasers, police batons, armoured vests and if any, firearms which have been lost or stolen in each of the last three years?

2023 - 2x batons and 4x armoured vests (included in the figures above).
2022 - 6x batons and 4x armoured vests (included in the figures above).
2021 - 1x Taser.
Conventional firearms - 0.
