2) How many stalking advocates the force has, if the answer is more than one.
3) If the answer to (1) is yes, when was the advocate(s) was/were put in place
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Q1 - If your force has a stalking advocate in place
We do not have specific Metropolitan Police Stalking Advocates, but we do work closely with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust (and other advocacy services such as Paladin) who offer stalking advocacy to victims of stalking. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust are part of a MASIP (multi-agency stalking intervention programme) which also includes the Metropolitan police, the NHS and the National Probation Service under the umbrella of the STAC - Stalking Threat Assessment Centre.
Q2 - How many stalking advocates the force has, if the answer is more than one
As above. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust currently has four full-time advocates assigned to STAC and are recruiting for a fifth.
Q3 - If the answer to (1) is yes, when was the advocate(s) was/were put in place
STAC was implemented in 2018.
