Do you have confirmation from the Home Office and MOPAC on whether there will be funding for Operations Orochi and Yamata to continue in 2024?
The Home Office have agreed to fund Operation Orochi for financial year 2024/25.
Operation Yamata was funded by the Home Office for the first 6 months of financial year 2023/24 with the remaining 6 months being funding by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC). Funding arrangements for financial year 2024/25 have not, to date of this notice, been finalised.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) provides the right to request recorded information held by public authorities and captures information that was held at the time of receipt of the request for information. There is no overarching outcome report for Operation Orochi and/or Operation Yamata that is held by the MPS. The requested information cannot accordingly be released and/or published, as it is not held by the MPS.
The Home Office has published a summary of the activity of the County Lines Programme since its launch in November 2019. These figures include those provided by the MPS. I have provided a link to this information below.
