I note you seek access to the following information:

We would be grateful if you could provide the annual allowances paid to the rank of Sergeant and Detective Sergeant from 2006 to 2008 (including the London allowances and Weightings) and whether these were pro-rated for part-time officers.

We would be grateful if you could provide the annual allowances paid to the ranks of Inspectors to Chief Inspectors (Detectives and Regulars) from 2011 to 2016 (including the London allowances and Weightings).

We would be grateful if you could provide the annual allowances paid to the ranks of Superintendent and above (Detectives and Regulars) from 2017 to 2023 (including the London allowances and Weightings).

We would be grateful if you could provide the annual allowances paid to the ranks of Inspectors to Chief Inspectors (Detectives and Regulars) from 2011 to 2016 (including the London allowances and Weightings).

We would be grateful if you could provide the annual allowances paid to the ranks of Superintendent and above (Detectives and Regulars) from 2017 to 2023 (including the London allowances and Weightings).

London Allowance 1 – £1011 – Rate has not changed from 2006 to 2023

London Allowance 2 - £3327 – This allowance has not changed and is only payable to Police Officers who joined the Met post 1994, and who are not entitled to rent/housing allowance.

London Allowance 3 - £1000 - which is payable to Police Officers who joined the Met pre 1994 and are in receipt of half rent/housing allowance.

Additional London Allowance - £1000 paid to all officers below the rank of Commander from 1st September 2023.

Housing Allowance - £427.23 – this is payable to all ranks who were not in receipt of Rent Allowance and joined the Met pre 1994

Rent Allowance – Federated Ranks PC to Chief Inspector - £5,863.65 - All officers in receipt of a rent allowance on 31 March 1990, Supt - £6,802.00
