• Medical Guidance: What you need to know – Police Officer / Police Staff

We do not have a policy but guidance is published on the MPS intranet and is accessible to all officers and staff in the form of the following titled document:
• The male menopause ‘andropause’ - Men’s health focus.
The document also includes guidance for Managers in relation to their responsibilities.
Q3 - Please would you also detail how many times the Menopause/ Andropause policy has been applied for male employees broken down by the following years:-2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019.
There is no policy therefore no information is held relevant to this question, however, there are established procedures for all officers and staff who need support for medical and welfare reasons. This would only be held in the personal records of those officers and staff and is not collated.
