I would like to know are all Armed response vehicle (ARV) officers within MO19 equipped with baton and pava as standard.
I can confirm that Armed response vehicle (ARV) officers are in possession of regular Personal Protective equipment (PPE) which includes PAVA incapacitant spray as well as their firearms.
(Personal Protective Equipment Regulations (1992) defines PPE as all equipment (including clothing affording protection against the weather) which is intended to be worn or held by a person at work which protects them against one or more risks to their health and safety.)
