Trialling of Taser 10

I note you seek access to the following information:

I would like to know if the Metropolitan police have started trialling the ‘Taser 10’s yet made by Axon.

I have noticed that a few police forces in the UK have started trialling them to authorised firearms officers.

Decision

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.

Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

MO19 have confirmed that the Taser 10 is not yet approved in the UK by the Home Office and therefore the MPS are not trialling the device at this time.
