Please could you tell me, what is your policy regarding the retention and deletion of personal details of former employees, i.e. names, addresses, contact details, etc.?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Please note the MPS have a large number of systems that hold personal data which is held both electronically as well as paper based.
That being said, the detail requested centres around a personal record and so the general policy is that HR records are held until an employee is age 85 or 7 years after the end of employment, whichever is later.
