I note you seek access to the following information:
My request is in relation to the disposal of bikes by the Met Police. These are any bikes that are sent to auction, scrap, charity or offloaded or discarded by any other means.
We have seen this information historically but would like to review update data including more recent years.
The data is being used to help a charity compile a review of its charitable services, to feedback on metrics to the Government, Police and charity supporters, and to ultimately try and build a partnership model with the Police to continue to reduce reoffending.
The specific request is: Since the year 2019:
- What is the number of bikes disposed of by the Met Police.
- Show the number of bikes per year.
- Where possible, highlight where bikes have been sent to auction, charity, for destruction or any other route of disposal.
- Please detail any income generated from each method of offload, particularly auction income.
- Details of any known costs incurred by the Police in this process.
- Please include any other relevant held information.
