As Police are required to inform the Home Office Immigration Enforcement (HOIE), National Command and Control Unit (NCCU) of the arrest/offence of foreign nationals on a Monthly Basis, ACRO will also be contacted

Please send me the following information

1. How many foreign nationals have been arrested per month during the past 12-months.
2. What type of offences have been committed by the foreign nationals who have been arrested each month during the past 12-months.

The data requested has been provided in the Excel Spreadsheet below. Please note there are three separate tabs within the spreadsheet titled cover sheet, notes, and arrests. The notes page should be read in conjunction with the data to ensure the report is interpreted correctly.

ADDITIONAL CONTEXT INFORMATION
It is important to note that each year, the MPS makes thousands of arrests Please see the total figures below in conjunction with the figures mentioned in the Excel spreadsheet for greater context into how the requested data measures up against overall arrest figures.

With regards to Q2 of the request ‘what type of offences have been committed by the foreign nationals who have been arrested each month during the past 12-months’, please note the data supplied is in relation to arrests following allegations. This data does not show whether the arrested individual was subsequently prosecuted. The Arrest reasons are in relation to the main arrest; however, it is relevant to note that an individual can be arrested for various offences with multiple counts of the same offence.
