Could you please provide the number of Custody Sergeants you have in Force and with a break down of male/female staff, full time/part time and any flexible working in Custody. What shift pattern do your custody officers work?

The MPS currently employ 362 Custody Sergeants

23.5% are female, 76.5% are male.

49 custody officers are on Flexible working patterns.

16 of which are considered as part time.

Custody Sergeants work a 12 hour shift pattern with a mixture of days and nights.
