Q1 - How many officers in your force had completed the Rape Investigators Specialist Development Programme (RISDP) training? As of 1 March 2024.
Total numbers of officers who have completed RISDP, as of 01 March 2024 – 21 officers.
Officers who had completed the scheduled learning elements of the training as of the 1March 2024, but who were yet to fully complete the course;
Q2 - In total, how many officers are scheduled to complete the RISDP training by 1 April 2024?
87 officers.
Q3 - How many officers were meant to be trained in RISDP by 1 April 2024 as per this force’s targets?
568 officers is the Home Office target for completion of all 11 modules of the RSDIP course by 1 April 2024. The MPS now have 156 officers who have fully completed RISDP as of 25 April 2024, with a significant number nearing completion (values listed in Q1).
