Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.23.033146
I note you seek access to the following information:
Please provide information on whether any specific GCSEs (particularly GCSE Maths) are required for entry on the Degree Holder Entry Programme to become a Police Officer.
GCSEs in English and Maths are listed as requirements on the other entry routes, but there is no mention of GCSES on the DHEP entry requirements information. The only requirement appears to be a UK or overseas degree.
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
For the DHEP (Degree Holder Entry Pathway) the minimum entry requirement is to hold a Level 6 Degree. GCSE Maths is not a requirement for this route.
If the degree was obtained overseas, it would need to be supported with a statement of comparability (ENIC or NARIC) and supplemented with an English Language Level 2 qualification.
