I am requesting you to release the list of 'Areas' and their respective post code or equivalent geographical mapping/ boundaries that are leveraged in your crime by area search function found here: https://www.met.police.uk/area/your-area/ .
For example, searching W12 0RL returns Wormholt, I am requesting all postcodes / geographical information that falls within Wormholt and all other Areas.”

Please find enclosed with this notice, a spreadsheet in which all MPS wards and the postcodes they contain, has been provided.
CAVEATS
Postcodes are held as postcode polygons and one postcode polygon can appear within one or more census wards as the boundaries are not aligned. An example has been provided in the image below. Ward boundaries are provided in red whilst postcode polygons are provided in green. This means that a single postcode can appear on more than one line in the disclosed spreadsheet as it appears in more than one ward.
