Q1 - What is the average response time to intruder alarms with level 1 police response via an ARC
The MPS charter response time is within 15 minutes, which was achieved in 93% of calls. The figures from 2022 show an average response time of 8.02 minutes. The fastest response time was 6 seconds.
Q2 - How many alarms have been triggered in the last 3 years.
From January 2020 to December 2022 the MPS received 56,618 alarms via compliant Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC).
Q3 - Additionally, are there occasions where triggered alarms are not responded to immediately.
Whilst completing the annual statistics from the previous three years the MPS noted that all level 1 Unique Reference Numbers (URN) had been responded to.
