1) The total number of calls made to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline (0800 789 321) in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (1 January – 31 July inclusive), broken down by year.
2) The total number of calls made to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline which included the case notes, flag or description ‘incel’ in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 (1 January – 31 July inclusive), broken down by year.

Q1 – The total number of calls to the Anti-Terrorist hotline from 1 January to 31 July, broken down by year is as follows:

Q2 – The total number of calls to the Anti-Terrorist hotline which included the case notes, flag or description ‘incel’ from 1 January to 31 July, broken down by year is as follows:
2018 - 0
2019 - 0
2020 - 0
2021 - 0
2022 - 1
2023 - 2
In relation to figures provided for Q2, please note that the word ‘incel’ would only have been documented if it was stated by the informant. However, if the behaviours indicated an incel-related risk, but this was not explicitly stated, the word ‘incel would not be recorded. In addition, if the intelligence was later reclassified as incel-related, this would not be recorded in the above figures.
