What is the expected timetable for establishing a Leadership Academy for the Metropolitan Police Service?

The MPS is currently developing a business case for the new Leadership Academy that will define the timeline. The business case will be considered by Management Board in March 2024. In the meantime we are implementing new development offers for all Met leaders, such as our First Line Leaders programme that launched in April, to improve leadership skills while we develop the Academy.
