During the last 12 months for which there is data, what number of MPS officers have
a) Been found guilty of gross misconduct,
b) Have left the MPS after being found guilty of gross misconduct.
Please could you provide both numbers.

During the last 12 months for which there is data, what number of MPS officers have
Q1a - Been found guilty of gross misconduct,
Number of MPS officers who have had allegations of gross misconduct proven is 114
Q1b - Have left the MPS after being found guilty of gross misconduct.
Number of MPS officers who have left the MPS after allegations of gross misconduct were proven is 55
Please note from the 114 officers who had allegations of gross misconduct proven, a further 44 would have been dismissed if still serving under Former Officer Conduct Regulations as at the time of their hearings they had previously resigned or retired.
All of the 99 officers dismissed have been added to the College of Policing Barred list that prevents them working for police services in the future.
