Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Commercial Vehicle Unit (CVU) vehicles are used to assist staff when deployed at the roadside. They provide mobile office space to allow examination of tachographs and driver / vehicle documentation. CVU vehicles carry the following equipment:
• Evidential Screening Device for breath alcohol testing
• Drug wipes
• Laptop for tachograph analysis
• Tachograph download tool
• Vehicle Immobilisation Cable
• Wheel Chocks
• HOSTYD (Tyre deflation for pursuit management)
• Hand washing facilities
• Hot water boiler
• Traffic management equipment such as cones and signs
