Please could you furnish me with the following information:
1. What is the cost attributed by the Camera Processing Services, for the processing of a single fixed penalty notice, where the party agrees they are the driver, within 28 days, and pays, within 28 days, including all costs associated with the processing with the exception of cameras and any costs associated with the hosting of pictures for inspection by the guilty party. Specifically from the point there is a need to contact a driver to completion of the process. To be clear, this should include, but not be limited to, staffing, postage, error handling, printing, envelope stuffing, office space, IT infrastructure, management, production of management information, any cloud based applications used to support the process, mail loss and subsequent follow up.
2. What is the cost of the same example above utilising an automated online process with minimal intervention by the Camera Processing Service.
3. Why Met Police have not moved to an automated process to reduce costs to both themselves and the public.

Met Prosecutions changed the adjudication system for processing automated speed and red light camera offences in March 2020. This provides increased automation of processing offences. The business continually strives to make efficiency savings in all aspects and areas of work associated with these offences.
