Vehicles
Vehicle forecast:
• January 2023 - 5000 vehicles
• January 2024 - 5100 vehicles
Current number of vehicles in service (2 October 2023)
• 5045 vehicles.
Drivers
Currently, there is no central assessment of the number of drivers needed (at each level) in the MPS. Assessment is conducted by each business group at a local level and the information is not collated centrally.
A yearly consultation takes place with L & D and each command, to agree the demand from each OCU, to formulate an annual training plan.
