Q4 - How many/ what is the percentage of people passing the sergeants exams in 2019? How many/ what is the percentage of people passing the sergeants exams in 2022?
In 2019 675 candidates passed the Sergeants exam, giving an overall pass percentage of 30.2%
In 2022 844 candidates passed the Sergeants exam, giving an overall pass percentage of 37.5%
Q5 - How many PC's are currently serving in the metropolitan police and how many are currently on active duty as of 17/03/2023?
As of 17/03/2023 there were 22,235 Police Constables serving in the MPS and of those 19253 are on active duty (not on maternity, suspended, adjusted or recuperative duties or seconded out).
Q6 - How many police officers in the metropolitan police are at the rank of sergeant or above as of 17/03/2022?
As of 17/03/2023 there are 7194 Police Officers at the rank of Sergeant or above.
Q7 - How many Police officers of all ranks are currently involved in front-line policing as of 17/03/2022?
As of 17/03/2023 there were 23309 Police Officers at all ranks involved in frontline policing
