I am requesting the following information regarding Formal Uniforms used by the service:
1. The use of aiguillettes
a. Who is entitled to wear them?
b. Are there different classes/types to be used by different officers?
c. I have seen the Mounted Branch wear them, is this limited to certain people or all members?
2. The wearing of sashes/ribands;
a. Can an officer who is a grand cross of an order of chivalry wear their sash/riband in formal uniform?

Q1 - The use of aiguillettes
a. Who is entitled to wear them?
The Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner
b. Are there different classes/types to be used by different officers?
As above
c. I have seen the Mounted Branch wear them, is this limited to certain people or all members?
We are not aware of Mounted officers wearing these. This may be other forces.
Q2 - The wearing of sashes/ribands
a. Can an officer who is a grand cross of an order of chivalry wear their sash/riband in formal uniform?
If the occasion has a dress code policy of medals, yes, this will be included in the dress code.
Some formal occasion require miniature versions, so this depends on the dress code at the time of appointment.
