The actual overtime spend was particularly high during the 22/23 financial year partly due to major events (e.g. The State Funeral of HM The Queen) as well as a significant vacancy rate.

How much did MO19 spend on
a) night vision goggles,
a - Night vision goggles - 32 pairs were purchased in March 2021 for the initial cost of £220,640. An additional £30,000 was spent on brackets in September 2021.
b) tomahawk axes,
b - MO19 have not purchased ‘tomahawk axes’; Rescue Axes (tactical axes for use as an impact / method of entry / rescue tool) were purchased for £19,440 in 2020.
c) specialist vehicle camouflage wraps
c - Specialist vehicle camouflage wraps were provided to MO19 at no cost.
