In February the Acting Commissioner of TfL said in his report to the TfL Board
“The MPS has enforced 443,609 speeding offences in the financial year to date, up from 270,458 in the same period last year. This includes mobile safety camera enforcement which was introduced in February 2022, which has provided both additional speed enforcement and enabled us to flexibly respond to speeding concerns from London boroughs”
1. Would you please break this down by month and borough and if available by ward
2. How were they dealt with broken down by warning, attending trading course, fixed penalty or summons to court or any other means
3. How many were to drivers and or vehicles operated by or on behalf of TfL.
4 Please break this down my method of detection, including Fixed camera, Mobile Camera unit, Police road side enforcement, police car following or any other method
5. If you have more recent data please provide it until tge end of tge financial year

However, please note that we are unable to answer question three and police following/pursuits for part of the Q.4 for you as to supply this information would involve an officer or staff member reading through every report to see if it falls within the scope of your request. As you can see from the data attached this would involve reviewing thousands of records which would take in excess of the 18hrs provided under the Act.
