I note you seek access to the following information:

Please provide the number of outstanding suspects who are wanted by the MPS for criminal offences.

Please break this down by month since September 2022 to the present day.
For each month please indicate: the total number, the number added, the number removed (due to arrest etc).

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.

Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

I have attached an excel spreadsheet with the answers to your questions. Please note there are two separate tabs within the spreadsheet, titled cover sheet and notes.

DATA CAVEAT
The data in relation to this request would usually be sourced from the Criminal Justice Dashboard (Wanted Nominals – EWMS), which is an internal dashboard.

However, this dashboard only has relevant data available up to the end of April 2023. This being the case, this request has been completed using EWMS data held on a Server.

The PAU consider the New and Closed data in the table on the notes tab, in the attached spreadsheet, to be accurate, but have confirmed that the stock figures are inaccurate.

The MPS are required to provide you with the data that is held, which in providing the attached, I have done. However, it is important to make you aware of the data accuracy concerns, which I have also done.
