Q1 - When did you start to accept video evidence from members of the public to prosecute road traffic offences?
The on-line reporting facility was introduced as part of the Public Access project in October 2016.
Q2 - When did you provide an online service allowing members of the public to upload evidence.
The capability for members of the public to report on line has been available since October 2016.
Q3 - Was there any key figure in MET that was responsible for enabling public to report such incidents, different than Andy Cox?
The initiative was adopted by the Metropolitan Police to improve on line access by members of the public to report Road Traffic offences captured via Dashcam equipment. There were various senior officers and staff involved in overseeing this project.
Q4 - For the last four years what was the amount of reports resulting in warnings, conditional offers or prosecution.
